Research Participant Recruitment
In order to further understand the structures and functions of the brain and the disorders of the brain, the Neuroimaging and Neuroinformatics Group requires volunteers.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a non-invasive process and all our studies are carried out in hospitals in metropolitan Melbourne at no cost to the volunteer.
Although specific studies have individual requirements (see the current studies listed below), in general we are looking for a wide range of adult members of the community. Often projects will require volunteers from a clinical population as well as healthy volunteers who will provide control data.
All the projects listed below have each been approved by independent ethics committees.
Please read the attached flyers for more information about the projects currently recruiting volunteers and contact the researcher listed on the flyer if you have any further questions or would like to volunteer.
Thank you for considering volunteering in our important research.
